Summary: Extra Smart mouse
Comment: I caught 13 mice in 4 days with the Victor 700 trap but this one crafty little fellow has remained at large for almost a year. I can only assume he can escape from the V-700 trap or now knows not to go in. I bought this Tin-cat trap and on the first night I heard some racket that sounded like I'd finally caught him but woke to find the trap empty...I think he had a close call but somehow escaped that first night and won't go back in it now. I've just ordered two other styles and hope that one of those does the trick. That mouse has been around so long he's kind of like a pet.

Comment: I've only had it one day but I've already caught a mouse. I was surprised that the top is just thin flexable plastic and not glass so I'll have to wait and see how that works out.
12-24-08 I've had it a month now and have caught 31 mice. One night I caught 5 at once. It's good at catching the small ones that can tap dance on regular traps.
