Summary: Good product for the price
Comment: This is a good product to purchase if you don't want to go for the very expensive GPS tracking device for your kids. It is a little hard to get used to but once I got the hang of it then it was easy to use and easy to read. I strongly suggest practicing multiple times at/around home where you and your kids feel comfortable before using it out in the "real world".
I do wish that the strap was more secure - my 2 year old can get it loose and off, but a safety pin solved that problem in short order. The band is made of soft fabric, not plastic. I have also strapped it on his ankle to avoid the constant pushing of the alarm button. And, the "base" is small enough to fit in a pocket or purse but big enough that I haven't lost it (yet).
I do have to emphasize, though, that this is NOT a replacement for good parenting skills and for keeping an eye on your kids AT ALL TIMES when you are in public. But, if they break out of the stroller or cart, or if they take off you have a back up, especially if you are out in public alone.
