Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Don't get this for older children! Comment: I bought this for Christmas last year for my then eight year old daughter. It is a very cute apron and she really likes to wear it because it's a lot fancier than her other standard aprons. BUT, I was very surprised at the size (like the other reviewer) when I received it. I thought it would be a lot larger. The apron is only 18" from the top of the bib to the bottom. Thankfully, my daughter is petite and weighs 60 lbs. But I know that she is going to outgrow this in another year. ALSO, the material is made of linen/cotton, which gives it a cute vintage feel and look. But, I've only washed it in cold and let it hang dry because I fear anything else would make it even smaller! If I had it to do over again, I think they sell adult sizes and I would've just bought her one of those. Customer Rating: Summary: Jesse Steele Ava Child's Apron Review Comment: The brown and pink polka dot apron is adorable and my daughter loves it; however, I was a bit disappointed with the sizing. The product description did not list any size information (not even listing an approximate age bracket for sizing reasons), and the apron was much smaller that I had anticipated. For the price paid, I also had expected the apron to be made from a thicker material, or perhaps even lined on the back side (a thin waterproof coating perhaps), but the actual material is quite thin. Lastly, the picture of this apron shows large pink bows on the pockets; however, the apron I received has very tiny small pink bows on the pockets. Not a big deal, but the large bows on the apron shown with the product description are much nicer. More Reviews
