Summary: Wrong size shipped but Gel-Cumulus 9 is a GREAT running shoe
Comment: I ordered D width sneakers but received 4E width. Upon receipt, I called customer service at Footlocker, the actual provider, and the service was FANTASTIC. I re-ordered the sneakers directly from Footlocker and received the corrected size in a couple days with no charge for shipment (since it was previously paid with the initial order).
There apperently was a glitch between Amazon's website and Footlocker that caused the size error on the original order.
P.S. Asics Gel-Cumulus 9 sneaker is a GREAT running shoe and slightly less expensive than the newer Gel-Cumulus 10 model.

Summary: Decent Shoe...
Comment: This is a decent shoe for those of you with a wide foot. It is a good deal for the price but it isn't the best shoe for cushioning. The foam in the sole is rather stiff and breaks down very quickly. If you can get it for $60 or less I would buy it (including shipping). It isn't worth more than $60. Good enough but not great.

Comment: I bought these because I needed some good running shoes after I injured my knee running a long distance one weekend. I got fitted for running shoes by a professional and I got 2 different pairs to try. I got these sort of on a whim just because they felt good, even though I didn't know the brand at all. Turns out these are the best shoes I've ever had. I have a "neutral" running balance and I don't under or over pronate, so keep that in mind. They have great support and cushioning, and the 2E size fits me perfectly. Most shoes are too tight in the sides for me, but these are just right. I used to think new balance was the best shoe for me, but these are even better!
They also have a very good arch and seriously make running a lot easier. If you run you owe it to yourself to get the BEST shoe for your foot. Make sure you get evaluated for the right kind of shoe before you buy however! Different running styles and body types require different hardware! Using the wrong shoe can hurt just as much as using the right one can help!

Comment: Great shoe, I wore out the cumulus ( or is it cumuli...?) IV, VI and VII, and am still pleased with ASICS...
It seams that this shoe fits a little more snug than its predecessors, but maybe that'll wear off...
