My big problem, though, was the post that goes through the earlobe-- not only was it very thick (much thicker than the posts of my other earrings) but there was a rounded ball at the tip which really hurt when I pushed it through my ear. Maybe it's that I'm used to wearing smaller, thinner earrings, but I will have to return these and look for something that doesn't hurt to wear.
