We fired it up on New Year's Eve and had a three course blast of cheese, broth for cooking beef and chicken, and turtle chocolate dessert. Cooked well (even boiled the broth), but the temperature control didn't seeme real precise. The pot is a little small to support four people trying to cook at the same time, but we managed just fine. Was worth it for us. (BTW, found some great Melting Pot recipes by Googling online but have ordered the Melting Pot Cookbook.) We (family) have used it several times and like it so much we are considering purchasing another so we can do even more kinds of fondue in one meal.
