Summary: Too Many Main Characters
Comment: This book is beautifully written, like all of Radclyffe's other books. I love the Honor Series and have reread the books numerous times. However, I wanted to read a story about Blair and Cameron not this new Dana character, or the five or six other main characters. I stopped reading the Safe Harbor series for this very reason. I want to read about the two characters that were introduced in the beginning of the Honor Series, not the other couples they have met on the way.
Advice for Radclyffe make another book for the other main characters. Stop pushing so many people into one book.

Comment: There have only been three books by Radclyffe that I have rated less than 5 stars. Of those, I have given 4 stars. This is one of them.
Why only 4 stars? Well, I love the characters in this series. Blair and Cameron are phenomenal and addictive. Diane and Valerie, Stark and Savard, and all the others are well-developed and dependable. The plot of this one is even enjoyable. However, the entire thing was predictable and seemed almost too comfortable. Rad writes like they're her old friends (probably are at this point) and this installment in the series plays out like a daily soap opera. Nothing new really happens. Well, nothing new happens except the sudden romance between Dana and Emory - which happens amazingly fast considering Emory is relationship-phobic. It's almost like the plot should have been stretched out over several weeks or months instead of the few days it actually covers.
Bottom Line -- I'm hoping Radclyffe is able to recover this series in the next installment (if there is one - and I hope there is). This is truly a great bunch of characters and a premise that shouldn't be wasted.

Summary: Oops (or duh!) - Read last one first!
Comment: I obviously did the reading backwards - still.... While looking for something to read after plowing through I don't know how many books - I stumbled across this one. Needless to say, I have since ordered the remaining six in the series. I more than thoroughly enjoyed this reading -the characters, the plot, the dialogue and so on. Enough so that it has prompted me to write a review, which I never do or have done.
What impressed me most was the tenderness shared between the characters, those involved, and those not. I have read some reviews that say the relationships are a bit unrealistic... Reading is an escape, a fantasy, a learning tool, whatever. If I wanted reality all the time, I wouldn't be buried in a book!
I Love Dana and Amory and agree with the reviewer who thinks they should have their own series!! Something undeniably sweet about them.
I am working on my own "story" that I hope will grow up to be book someday. I hope I am fortunate enough, clever enough - to be graced with the presence of Radclyffes style and charm.
At any rate - if you want something to read that will capture your attention, imagination and a bit of your heart - read this...but start from book one! I do intend to reread the latest installment all over again once I read the first six - Indeed, it was that enjoyable.

Summary: Great Book!
Comment: I have really enjoyed reading the Honor series and was super excited when Word of Honor came out. It did not disappoint! Although the story does seem a little repetitive at times, it is well written and shows excellent character development. I love this series because I love reading about Blair/Cameron and Stark/Savvard's growing relationships. Who doesn't love a good romance? Now I have to wait for the next one!

Comment: I was so looking forward to this new arc into the lives of Cam and Blair and hoping this is where Cam gets to be the great agent she is supposed to be and bring down the bad guy. Disappointed again. She's turned Cameron into a whimp who cowtows to Blair. I'm ashamed to say Radclyffe has turn the series from suspense to smut. She has lost her objective of the secret service agents, which is to get the bad guy, not jump each others bones every five seconds. And another thing, this story was so short it was more like a school essay than a novel. I'm tired of these writer's getting away with less than 300 pages and some of the pages are blank. Here it is, you wait for almost a whole year for the sequel and its over in two days. I hope this is the last of this series. The characters could have been so much more.
